Homemade Salsa

Salsa

I had a lot of tomatoes from the garden last week and wanted to make some salsa that would be similar to what we buy at the store. So I found a recipe for Thick Tomato Salsa on this website. It's really good salsa!

2008 Year in Review layout

Emmett-2008 Year in Review

I've been meaning to share this layout for a long time. I made it over a year ago. To make the photo grid, I cropped the photos I wanted to use to 2 1/2 inch squares, placed them in a Photoshop document with some white space between them, and printed them out.

Thanks for looking!

Papertrey Ink Origami Challenge

 Papertrey Ink Origami Challenge

The Papertrey Ink challenge today is to incorporate origami into a project. So I made a little pinwheel out of a piece of My Mind's Eye paper and put a brad through the center to hold it together. The stick is actually two toothpicks glued together. I stamped the flower background using one the stamps from the 'Life' set and Versamark ink.

Thanks for stopping by!

Papertrey Ink Paint by Number Challenge

Papertrey Ink Paint by Number Challenge

I made this card today for the Papertrey Ink Paint by Number Challenge on Nichole's blog.

This is the sketch for the challenge.

And this was my assigned color palette.

This was a fun challenge and probably the fastest I've ever made a card, because the colors and design were already chosen for me, which usually takes a long time for me to figure out!

Thanks for stopping by!
