I saw some pretty layered flowers by Prima a while back and immediately thought how easy it would be to make some of my own. So I did. I found a few Prima flowers in different sizes, curled up the petals, and glued them together. I layered 5 flowers to make the big purple flower and 2 flowers to make the small pink flower. I'm going to experiment with this technique some more and see what else I can come up with. It's a lot of fun.
I freehand cut the stems from green cardstock by Die Cuts With a View. The leaves were punched with a circle punch and then I drew the stitches on with a Signo white gel pen. The sentiment stamp is from the Hero Arts Birthday Sayings set.
